Max Verstappen had a fantasy of winning 10 races in a row, but his streak came to an end on the fifth lap due to a brake fire.

The car’s brakes caught fire from overheating, which melted the tyre and parts of the vehicle; initially, it appeared like an engine problem, but a television camera revealed that the fire was coming from the back right side of the vehicle. Because of this Verstappen had to move to the pit lane, and Red Bull had to retire the vehicle.

Rivals of Max Verstappen were given an opportunity to win the race for the first time this season. Charles LeClerc finished in second place and Carlos Sainz in first, proving that Ferrari had a fantastic day. Third place went to British driver Lando Norris, who drove really well for McLaren and completed the podium.

Additionally, Mercedes had a rough day due to engine trouble for Lewis Hamilton shortly after Verstappen retired and a crash involving George Russel as he pursued Fernando Alonso.
